Hello and welcome to the web site of Les Chevaliers du Grand Vin an International Wine Society of over 3600 members based in New England. Founded in 1995 and known as “The Knights of Great Wine” or CDGV, we are a non-profit corporation registered in New Hampshire. The Society is founded on the principles of: wine education, the continuous evaluation and enjoyment of wine and the many social aspects of wine, such as wine tastings, wine dinners and wine related outings and events. Expert guided tours of California, France, Italy, Spain and Germany are offered to CDGV members with special winery appointments and dinners.

Insures that members will have only the best wine available for their personal consumption. With as many as 60 events per year, Society Members enjoy some of the finest wines in the world. The Society is open to adults of legal age, who like wine and have a desire to participate in our programs. For an annual fee of $30.00 members receive the following benefits:

CDGV Monthly Newsletter

Wine of the Month Club Membership

Each month, included within the CDGV Newsletter our staff selects 3 wines from those that have just become available in our region to be offered to CDGV members through our Wine of the Month Club . We select the best White and Red wine from moderately priced wines plus an exceptional Cellar Select from the most collectable wines, intended for long term aging or as a investment or to remember an anniversary, birthday or a graduation. Many of our selections over the past 3 years have appeared in the Wine Spectator’s top 100 listing. Each wine has a description of its attributes and characteristics, a food paring, suggested years for aging to maturity and a score (based on the 100 point system). Pricing of the wines of the month are based on wholesale cost and usually are the lowest prices available to the consumer anywhere. The orders are accepted, based on availability, on a prepayment basis before the 21st of the month and the wines may be picked up at Wine Society (Nashua & Tyngsboro) on the 10th of the following month.
